I first met Till through some local contacts where we discovered we share an aversion towards artificially colored glow-in-the-dark fruit sodas - and a love for Mario Kart, garlic and inspiring guitar gear.

Coming from more vintage spec low output pickups and pedals, I was excited to see what Till would come up with that would work in my field of use as a hired gun as well as a creative. Something modern, infinitely usable and still undeniably Nova.

After some tweaking we ended up with what I believe to be the most versatile pickups I've ever played or heard, both in a stylistic sense as well as in the way they've completely eliminated the guesswork of what pedal might work well with what particular guitar...they all do. Every time.

In the meantime I've had the chance of playing shows with these pickups and really run them through their paces, from indiefolk to post hardcore. No matter what the backline looked like, they passed with flying colors.

I am so happy and fortunate to have a mad genius like Till in my life (and my neighborhood) who not only knows the technical side of what he does, but also understands the musical part of what makes for an inspiring instrument.
