Till and I go way back, so he was the first person I thought of when it came to finding the right pickups. I’ve always loved the character of single coils and P90s — they sound fantastic, even with high gain — but I needed a bit more clarity for downtuned work with @swoonpunx.
Till reworked the housing of his Omnia Series pickups to fit into my FSR Squier Jazzmaster, and I’m blown away by how clearly they capture those rich, low-register chords. And additionally the ability to switch between parallel, split, and series voicings opens up so many more sonic possibilities. I’m seriously proud of how this project turned out!
